Crossover with High Fashion: Streetwear has seamlessly crossed over into high fashion. Luxury brands collaborate with streetwear labels, creating a fusion of high-end and urban styles. This blending of worlds has redefined traditional notions of luxury.

Today (12 September), the festival has finalised the schedule for the upcoming event, which will feature programmes curated by Heba Kadry, Nala Sinephro, Slauson Malone 1 and Stereolab. Low?s Alan Sparhawk, Lost Girls, W.I.T.C.H. and ESG have been announced. As have Bala Desejo,?Caterina Barbieri?and?Space Afrika, with Barbieri and Manchester-born duo Space Afrika tapped for a collaborative show with visuals from Marcel Weber (MFO).
The exhibition will include fashion pieces ranging from a 17th-century English Elizabethan-era bodices to pieces by one of London’s brightest young designers Conner Ives. In the mix will also be pieces from fashion’s most lauded names from across the 20th century, including Christian Dior and Elsa Schiaparelli, both of who often looked to the natural world for their work. Schiaparelli’s famous lobster dress springs to mind. Or Christian Dior’s fascination with flowers.
